Glad you liked it. I think the world needs more caps about empowerment. I like the more submissive/punitive stuff as much as the next capper, but there's plenty of room for empowerment and tall boots too.
I am captivated by the amazing differences in the power of the sexes. From a simplistic angle, guys wield power with their muscles and think with their penises. Women know that well and can use their allure to sway their lovers' use of their strength to suite their own plans. It may seem like a passive tactic, but is an amazingly provocative, sexy and intoxicating dance that serves them both. -CLake
Me too - the whole gender/power thing is enormously subtle and complex. Throw in the related issues of sex and sexuality and you end up with this weird, multi-dimensional ball of twine that we can spend centuries trying to untangle, like some kind of weird queer-theory space kittens. I think saying either gender is more powerful is to miss the point - there are a lot of different forms of power. Men are generally physically more powerful, but then women can use sexiness as a form of control too. Men make the laws, but women are better at social networking (in the lo-tech sense). I like that image of the sexy and intoxicating dance!
Love those boots.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! It's not often I write a cap directly inspired by footwear! :)
DeleteAll her reasons are good reasons. Great caps!
ReplyDeleteYes, and the boots...
