Guilt

  1. Strange culture... Gender change as a punishment for something like that... I smell really mysoginistic old style patriarchy or post feminist anti-equality backlash society.

Considering the technology I figure it's probably the latter. Feminism had won and decided to push... and push... and push further. Until the day came when men finally decided it was enough. They pushed back. Since women had already proved they couldn't handle any political responsibility it stood to reason to remove them from such... for their own good.

The feminist laws had truly shown that the woman is a creature of irrationality. No decent human being should be forced to live like that. The solution was obvious for the new government. They'd force all undecent human beings to be women.

Great caption, I guess a bit more background information would have been interesting, but this way I could make up my own :)

Can't wait for your next caption,

  2. Yeah, there IS a lack of backstory, you're welcome to make up your own. In fact, I encourage it, it shows that the story is engaging people's imagination. I think it's fair to say any society where feminisation is a punishment for drunk driving is going to be one with some pretty odd ideas about sex and gender... but then, doesn't our society have some pretty odd ideas about sex and gender too?

  3. I guess... but not to this point. Actually those ideas about sex and gender have proven pretty resilent to change. Maybe it's just nature's way to make sure men stay cannon fodder and women stay breeding chambers...

This scenario sounds a bit like he result of social overengineering...
